Carthorse Lane, Marcham
Pengwern Estates and Pengwern Land were retained to advise landowners on maximising the value of their asset, a country house set in ten acres of land abutting an existing settlement.
The land was divided into two parcels of land of two and five acres respectively and valuations undertaken to ensure that the existing dwelling and retained land would maintain its value in the event that the initial parcels of land were sold for development.
A Promoter was selected and the first parcel achieved a planning consent for 19 units despite some stiff technical challenges and was sold after a competitive tender process.
The second parcel achieved a planning consent for 36 units and is currently being sold.
